The Problem With “Strong” Soap Scents

When most people pick up a bar of soap and think “wow, that smells amazing,” what they’re usually reacting to is synthetic fragrance oils.

They’re engineered to:

• Smell intense right away

• Stay consistent for long periods of time

• Trigger an emotional reaction quickly

They’re also one of the most common causes of:

• Skin irritation

• Headaches or scent fatigue

• Sensitivity over time

For us, that tradeoff isn’t worth it.

Why We Don’t Use Fragrance Oils

We choose not to use synthetic fragrance oils because they often:

• Contain undisclosed chemical blends

• Overpower the senses

• Linger on skin longer than necessary

• Mask lower-quality base ingredients

They don’t align with how we want our products — or your everyday routines — to feel.

What We Use Instead

Our cleansing bars are scented only with pure essential oils, used thoughtfully and in balance.

• Nothing lingers longer than it should
